This is the result of shooting redscale film through an unknown camera with a wrecked battery compartment. So no auto-exposure and I couldn’t find ANYTHING about this camera (since the name of the brand got scratched off) so I just shot with it as the shutter did work. I believe I kept it on f/2.8 most of the time — got some really nice results from it with the redscale film.
This one of Kelly, … I’d absolutely love it if I’d actually shot this as a portrait and not just some random candid picture. Fuck the bus in the background and fuck me for cutting of part of her elbow and letting that pole stick out of her head. I think she looks real pretty and Kelly-like though, which makes it al the more irritating for me that I DIDN’T SHOOT THIS AS A PORTRAIT ‘cause it would have been a bomb ass photo.
I’ll go cry now, possibly in a corner, lamenting both my unwitting mistake and the fact that Summer’s gone so I’ll have to wait a whole bunch of shitty weathered months until I get to try this camera-film combo again.
Boo. Hoo.
